We’re saying goodbye to 2016 by sharing some love on the dancefloor. Twelve NYC DJs are donating their time for the Love is the Message Benefit on 12.30 with all proceeds going to the Trevor Project and the International Refugee Assistance Project.

The all-star line up includes DFA Records’ Holy Ghost!, Tiki Disco’s Eli Escobar, Hip Hop legend Stretch Armstrong, NYC hero Justin Strauss, Le Tigre’s JD Samson and a live performance from former Hercules & The Love Affair singer Nomi Ruiz.

The Manchester scene in the late 80s radiated from the Hacienda. It was a place which grew to be a breeding ground for the likes of Laurent Garnier and Chemical Brothers and in the Summer of Love the Hacienda had a theme tune called Voodoo Ray. Driven by a synergy of his French roots, his Chicago home base and neighboring Detroit, Ari presents an approach to music that is both multifaceted and abstract. Jen Orlando is a co-founder of Remedy, the left-leaning Brooklyn-based events at the forefront of artist bookings such as Claude Young and Zenker Brothers, and NY debuts, including Recondite, Drvg Cvltvre, and Marsman.
