Occupy The Disco (OXD) is the New York-based DJ collective of Tad Haes, DJ RuBot, and Josh Appelbaum. What started out as a casual experiment by three friends to introduce underground electronic music back onto the gay dance floor soon turned into curation and experimentation behind the decks. Their shared love for queer nightlife’s musical legacy drives them to not only cherish the past but embrace the future.

Occupy The Disco maintains a residency at Le Bain at The Standard, High Line with their afternoon tea dance, Paradisco. OXD has also been played at Good Room countless times and we’re looking forward to having them back on 01.20 at Kim Ann Foxman’s Firehouse Recordings residency. The boys have put together a mix of foot-stomping house music for the 80th Good Room Podcast ahead of the party. Tickets available via Resident Advisor – bit.ly/2hwMqSB.
