Red Axes (live / Garzen Records / Tel Aviv)
In the last few years, the duo known as Red Axes have carved a name for themselves as some of the most uncompromising and consistently diverse DJs-Producers. The Tel-Aviv based electronic outfit, consisting of Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, were formed in 2010 out of the ashes of their local rock band Red Cotton. They are best known for their unique version of highly effective, modernized dance music infused with spiky guitars and industrial beats.

As producers, they’ve had releases on top labels such as Hivern, Correspondent, Multi Culti, Kill the DJ and many more. Their tracks are constantly being played by some of the biggest DJs in the world. In 2014, their first album ‘Ballad of the Ice’ was released on French label I’m A Cliche. The album shows off their wide range and eclectic style, from the Portuguese new-wave deliciousness of ‘Papa Sooma’, to the western-like clubby psychedelia of ‘The Watkins’, to their brooding dark cover of Bauhaus’ ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’.

François K (Deep Space / Body & Soul)
Francois Kevorkian has been manning the decks on-and-off for over 30 years in a career that would impress any dance music aficionado. Kevorkian started out playing drums alongside Walter Gibbons, the man often credited with being the main inspiration to Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles, and soon became a regular guest at Studio 54, The Paradise Garage, and The Loft. In the 90s he founded Body & Soul with Danny Krivit and Joe Claussell and he has been exploring the dub-side of the electronic music spectrum since 2003 at Deep Space at Cielo.

Tiago (DFA Records / Lux Fragil / Lisbon)
Hailing from Lisbon where he is a weekly resident at Club Lux, Tiago has a laid back intensity that is reflected in the expansive and inquisitive nature of his sets. Raised on good music in his home, turned on to drumming by his older brother, he came to Dj’ing via live music. He has been at it for close to twenty years, and in the last decade added production work to his resume with releases on DFA Records, Public Possession and his own label Interzona13.

Mike Simonetti (2MR / Pale Blue)
At the forefront of a relatively underground movement for over two decades, few artists have had a history matching that of veteran-producer Mike Simonetti’s. But it’s this 20- year backstory that reveals the interminable role he’s played in the world of dance music. He started DJing in basements and warehouses around NYC in the 90s. Over the years he’s run several record labels including Troubleman, Italians Do It Better and 2MR. Most recently he began collaborating with Elizabeth Wight for a new project Pale Blue.
